Dissertation for Deaf/HOH teenagers ages 12-18

Interested in being a part of a research study?


My name is Angelica Almeida and I am a doctoral student in Psychology. I grew up with a younger Deaf sister. Growing up with my sister made me passionate about Deaf Culture and community. For my dissertation, I am conducting a study that will that will examine Deaf/Hard of Hearing teenagers’ relationships with their family and friends. Teenagers, ages 12-18, will be asked to answer questions about these relationships. It will only take 20-60 minutes to complete the survey. The survey can be completed online or mailed to you.

If you are 12-18 years old and Deaf/Hard of Hearing,
Work with Deaf/Hard of Hearing teenagers,
or the parent/legal guardian of a Deaf/Hard of Hearing teenager
